1.9TDI Garrett GT1856BB MFS 200-250bhp hybrid turbocharger.
- fitted with large VNT20 compressor housing that comes in 2 variants:
- ALH style with staright boost outlet 43mm OD (45mm lip)
- VNT17 style with right angled boost outlet 50mm OD (works well with intercooler hard pipe kts)
- fitted with ceramic ball bearing to increase spool and responsiveness
- inlet machined to 50mm so stock intake pipe coupler can be stretched enough to fit
- large GT18 turbine wheel
- 56mm GTX style 11+0 performance billet compressor wheel
- 200-250ish bhp power potential depending on tune and supporting mods
2.2bar max safe boost pressure
- it is recommended to use 1.5-1.8mm oil restrictor with this turbo! (https://www.gryphontek.com/products/steel-banjo-bolt-m12x1-5-1-8mm-restricted-port-with-crush-washers)
For best results we recommend:
- front mounted intercooler
- hard pipe kit
- uprated clutch
- head studs
- forged rods
- 4bar MAP sensor
- high lift camshaft
- .260 or large injectors
- good custom tune/remap
